The highlights of 2022

We had to change plans in the Gibraltar expedition because in that morning there was an Orca interaction in front of Barbate.

2022 was the that we brought our vessel to top condition. After several year investing (a lot) in safety and comfort, we decide to consolidate the Cadiz and Rota sailing expedition, giving more chances to Yachtmaster candidates to participate in those trips to build miles.

This year we have been in the Guadiana river (Vila Real and Ayamonte), first time in El Rompido (0.4m clearance at the bar), Chipiona, Rota, Cadiz and Barbate. We had to change plans in the Gibraltar expedition because in that morning there was an Orca interaction in front of Barbate.

We also sailed to Sagres several times with stop over in Vilamoura, Portimão and Lagos.

We also make the first Online "Weather fundamentals & forecast", and online workshop part of the passage plan to Gibraltar.

This year it was the first time we didn't run courses/expedition (after the 5th) in August. It was a good decision. The wind in August is miserable here in the south coast. Better to leave August for beach lovers.

In 2023 we are going to do the same. No sailing courses / expeditions in July and August. 3-5 sailing expeditions in spring and autumn. We will continue with small groups (max3-4).

Stay tuned for 2023. Fresh news coming. Sign our newsletter ;)
